Smith & Wilkins is a family-run business dedicated to creating handmade furniture for your home. Based in rural Nottinghamshire in the market town of Newark-on -Trent, our highly skilled cabinet makers still use traditional craftsman methods; creating furniture without compromise. To this day, Jonny Smith our Director can still be found hands-on in our workshop, ensuring every piece of our handmade furniture meets your measurements and expectations.

We really are a furniture factory outlet without compromise. We simply make top-quality bespoke furniture and sell it directly to you at a fraction of the cost. Without an expensive showroom, or the addition of a middleman the savings we make are given directly from us to you.

As we handmake all of our furniture we can complete your perfect look using finishes and colours to complement your home ensuring our outlet furniture is totally bespoke yet remains affordable. We pride ourselves on providing our customers with expert service, which when combined with furniture handmade using traditionally crafted skills, the results are simply stunning.

Where possible we source our raw materials locally, so the longest journey that your handmade furniture will take is from our workshop in Newark to your home. National deliveries are made daily throughout the UK, combined and planned to ensure that we make the most efficient journeys possible.
From the moment you make contact with Smith & Wilkins, we assign you a dedicated member of our project team. They are always on-hand to offer expert advice throughout your journey with us. From supporting you before your furniture goes into production, to updating you on the progress of your order (whilst our craftsmen are at work), helping arrange the collection or delivery of your item and finally ensuring that you are happy with your furniture once it is safely placed in the spot it was designed for, your project manager is there for you.
